Precisa specializes in the production, certification, calibration verification, and resetting of all granite tools: plates, straightedges, and squares, through geometric measurements of flatness, squareness, linearity, parallelism, and torsion of granite and cast iron tools, thanks to the use of sophisticated electronic levels.
The company's know-how allows Precisa to offer consulting services to its Clients directly at their facilities, performing calibration verification of surface plates using special software and the differential method, which eliminates measurement errors due to vibrations. In cases where granite tools are particularly worn, an resetting at our facility in Varallo Sesia is recommended.
Ethics
We believe that even in the precision mechanics sector, special attention should be paid to the recycling and reuse of instrumentation. For this reason, we promote and support the resetting of all old granite tools, which, when refurbished, guarantee precision equal to new and ethically contribute to consumption that can be defined as eco-sustainable. Furthermore, older instrumentation was often produced with granite of the highest quality (which is increasingly rare today), which, if refurbished, guarantees greater durability against wear.
